ULART – Upward Looking Absolute Reflectance Transmittance

Absolute measurement of reflectance and transmittance measurements of flat specular samples

• Transmittance and reflectance measurements with the same spot-size and beam geometry without moving the sample.
• Minimum wavelength range 200 – 2,500 nm;
• Angle of incidence 8 degrees in both transmittance and reflectance;
• Measurement accuracy < 0.2T% and < 0.5R% for a specular sample;
• Horizontal sample table of approximate size 100 x 150 mm (is also largest sample size)
• Sample table surface is made of a plastic material (to prevent damaging the sample surface)
• Sphere inner diameter 60 mm;
• Beam size in the centre of the measurement aperture < 5 x 12 mm
• Measurement aperture 10 x 15 mm (determined smallest sample size to approximately 15 x 20 mm)
• The sample table has an XY grid engraved that helps to position the sample in a controlled way
• Calibrated 50 x 50 mm second surface mirror included (for performance checking)
• Optical interfacing covered (protects mirrors against accidentally touching)
• Detector UV/Vis: photomultiplier tube (PMT);
• Detector NIR: Broadband InGaAs with triple stage Peltier cooling;
